Philips has named Julia Strandberg the new head of its Connected Care division. 2023

A global pioneer in health technology has announced Julia Strandberg’s appointment as Chief Business Leader of its Connected Care divisions, beginning April 24, 2023. Ms. Strandberg will report to Philips CEO Roy Jakobs as a member of Philips’ Executive Committee. Starting on 1 April 2023, the Connected Care businesses of Philips will include the Monitoring, Sleep & Respiratory Care, and Enterprise Informatics businesses.

Ms. Strandberg (1974, United States) joins Philips from Pear Therapeutics, where she served as Chief Commercial Officer and led the commercial team that developed, launched, and expanded the company’s prescription digital pharmaceuticals service. Prior to this, Ms. Strandberg led a healthcare business consulting firm focused on client growth. Prior to that, she led Medtronic’s Global Health Informatics and Monitoring business and was the global marketing leader for the Patient Monitoring business within Covidien’s Respiratory & Monitoring group, which Medtronic acquired. Ms. Strandberg began her professional career with 3M, where she held a variety of positions.

Ms. Strandberg follows Dan Leonard, who assumed the job of Chief Business Leader of Connected Care on an interim basis following Roy Jakobs’ appointment as CEO in October 2022.
