Gains in the Building & Construction, Retail, and Industrial Investment sectors led to an increase in Saudi Arabian equities after the market closed on Sunday.
At Saudi Arabia’s market close, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.32 percent to a three-month high.
Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (Tadawul:2160) exhibited the greatest performance on the Tadawul All Share during the session, gaining 9.09%, or 4.00 points, to close at 48.00. Al Aseel Co Ltd (TADAWUL:4012) gained 4.42 percent, or 1.80 points, to close at $42.55, while Methanol Chemicals Company (TADAWUL:2001) rose 4.40 percent, or 1.10 points, to $26.10.
Al Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co SJSC (TADAWUL:8170) was the worst performer of the session, falling 3.1% or 0.58 points to close at 17.62. Etihad Etisalat Co (TADAWUL:7020) ended the day at 44.60, down 3.04%, or 1.40 points, while Leejam Sports Company SJSC (TADAWUL:1830) fell 2.70%, or 3.20 points, to 115.40.
On the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange, rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 157 to 102, and 18 stocks ended unchanged.
Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160) shares reached 52-week highs, rising 9.09%, or $4.00, to close at $49.00.
The price per barrel of crude oil for June delivery increased by 2.50 percent, or 1.87 dollars, to $76.60. Brent oil for July delivery rose 2.61 percent, or $2.04, to $80.26 per barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.02 percent, or $0.40, to $1,999.40 per troy ounce.
EUR/SAR remained unaltered at 4.13, while USD/SAR remained unchanged at 3.75.
US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.18 percent to 101.43.
